Response to Trump Jr’s Lies About Election
This afternoon, Donald Trump Jr. told Axios:
If former President Trump loses in November, it will be because of "cheating," while repeating his father's frequent false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
Biden-Harris 2024 Spokesperson James Singer released a statement on Donald Trump Jr’s comments to Axios:
“Donald Trump Jr’s lies are dangerous and irresponsible. Revenge, retribution, and lies may do well on Truth Social, but they don't create opportunity, bring America together, or build a future we can be proud of. As President Biden often says, You can’t love your country only when you win. You can't obey the law only when it's convenient. And you can't be patriotic when you embrace or enable lies.”
